1. Services Offered
We provide a wide range of services, including but not limited to:

Mobile mechanic services for cars, light trucks, campervans and motorcycles

Diesel engine diagnostics and repairs

Fleet maintenance and servicing

Emergency roadside breakdown assistance " Not towing"

Preventative maintenance for machinery and vehicles

All services are carried out by fully qualified mechanics. We are committed to providing reliable, honest, and expert service throughout Auckland

2. Booking and Appointments

Bookings can be made online, by phone, or via email.

Same-day service may be available, subject to technician availability.
-
emergency service is prioritised for urgent breakdowns.

Service times are estimated and may vary based on location, traffic, or complexity.

Booked jobs can be changed due to delays and unforeseen circumstance​
3. Pricing and Payments

All prices are in NZD and include GST unless otherwise stated.

Diagnostic and call-out fees apply to mobile services.
-
A full quote will be provided before any major work commences.
-
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods: paywave, credit cards, and bank transfers.
Quotes are estimates only and may include parts, labour, miscellaneous costs, and applicable taxes.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours in advance.
-
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a call-out fee.
-
Higher rates may apply for after-hours or remote-area emergency services.

5. Warranty and Workmanship

All work is backed by a 6-month workmanship warranty, on WORK COMPLEATED unless otherwise noted.

Some components will break from fatigue Mobile mech takes no responsibility for damaged PLASTIC components damaged during operation
-
Manufacturer warranties apply to parts where applicable.
-
We are not liable for issues caused by pre-existing conditions or misuse.
If a warranted part (new or second-hand) fails, it will be replaced by the manufacturer or supplier; however, labour charges may still apply for removal and reinstallation.

6. Liability

We take all reasonable care in delivering services but are not liable for delays or damages due to factors beyond our control, including traffic, weather, or supplier issues.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.

Service and pricing information may change and is subject to availability and correction.

7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:

Ensure the vehicle or equipment is in a safe and accessible location.

Provide accurate service history and vehicle information.
-
Authorise all work before it begins.
-
Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat, solid surface (not on grass or loose gravel).
-
Be present (or arrange for someone to be present) at the agreed time and location to hand over keys.

8. Use of Website and Content

All website content, including descriptions, images, and branding, is the property of Mobile Mech.

Reproduction, copying, or reuse of this content without permission is prohibited.

Users may not engage in unauthorised or malicious activities on the website.

11. Booking Policy & Remote Technician Requirements
When booking a service, you must provide:

Vehicle make, model, year
-
Vehicle registration number
-
Location of the vehicle
-
Chosen service type (e.g. Eco Service, StandardService, Premium service,WOF)
-
Preferred date and time
-
Accurate payment details or intent to pay the technician directly
Remote Technician Requirements:

The vehicle must be within 200m of the address provided at the time of booking
-
The vehicle must be on a flat, safe surface
-
You must be available to hand over keys and provide access for the duration of the service
-

12. Payment Options

Pay the technician directly upon service completion

Pay securely online via credit or debit card​
13. Pricing Information

All services are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST, unless otherwise noted
-
We strive to ensure pricing is current and accurate, but errors may occur
-
In case of pricing discrepancies, you will be contacted for confirmation before the booking proceeds
-
If payment has been made and the price is incorrect, a refund will be processed immediately
Quotes are indicative only and not binding. Final costs may vary depending on the actual work performed due to inforseen circumstances.

14. Consumer Guarantees Act
You have the right to receive services that:

Match the description and are fit for their intended purpose

Include parts that are of acceptable quality

15. Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

17. Vehicle photograph

Mobile Mech reserves the right to photograph vehicle before work is commenced to protect against liability of pre existing damage .
​
The images collected will be held for 6 months before deleting, no personal or sensitive information will be included in the photographs collected.
